Information for prospective graduate students, postdocs, and undergraduates interested in Theoretical Population Biology.

Graduate students

Incoming students enroll in Northeastern University's Ph.D. program in Marine and Environmental Sciences. Prospective students need not be fully versed in statistical or mathematical modeling; they merely need to demonstrate a genuine interest in learning.

Email me before the application deadline

Provide a brief description of your interests and how they relate to the lab's research themes. Your email should also include an up-to-date CV.

Postdocs

Postdoctoral openings are announced when funding is available. I am also happy to develop fellowship applications with people whose interests overlap with mine. Please contact me well ahead of the application deadline so that we can collaborate to produce a competitive proposal.

Undergraduates

Undergraduate projects involve statistical and computational analysis. Some programming experience is useful but willingness to learn R, Python or MATLAB in the first month is sufficient to get started. Having taken a quantitative course such as Biostatistics, Advanced Biostatistics, or Population Dynamics helps.
